2015 Code 4 Impact for Female Student in Nigeria Institutions

Code 4 Impact is an experiential learning program that builds digital literacy, especially coding and analytical skills in 50 female students aged 18-24 in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) fields in tertiary institutions in Lagos state to create community impact solutions around the new Global Goals.

This program aims to increase the number of young women who are actively involved in STEM fields and the number of secondary school girls who choose STEM fields as a future career.

The beneficiaries of this program will be grouped in clusters of 10 with 5 girls in each group. These groups will form the functional identities through the course of the training for collaboration on assignments and end of training projects. Each group will be assigned tutors and mentor developers who will help guide the beneficiaries on their projects.

Code 4 Impact is an HACEY initiative funded by the United States Diplomatic Mission in Nigeria and powered by the Tech4Dev Foundation.
